About The Staff

Cynthia Bostic
Executive Director

Cynthia started her career in health care at the age of 17 as an Activity Director. She found her passion working with the elderly and continued her schooling in Health Care Administration. She had an extensive career as a Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Colorado. During her time overseeing a Veteran’s complex it became apparent her own parents were starting their aging journey two states away. She brought her family back to her home town and decided to expand her knowledge in the aging journey. In the last nine years she has been the Director of a local private hospice and a local homecare company. It became apparent she missed the daily Interaction with residents in a facility setting so she accepted the position at the Fort Armstrong in October 2012. In her free time she tries to care for two college age children, two golden retrievers and two cats. She enjoys researching the web for new ideas that will benefit her residents and her own folks.
